Eligibility: Any owner/skipper of a Micro-Magic Class boat, who is properly registered in the Micro
Magic Class and a current member of the AMYA, or his/her appropriate national authority, may participate in this regatta. Entry limited to the first 36 applicants.

Entry: Boats may be entered by completing the attached Entry Form and submitting it prior to
April 13 with an entry fee of $30.00, guests $8. Entry fee includes coffee, doughnuts, and drinks on Saturday and Sunday plus lunch on Saturday

Location: South County Regional Park, Punta Gorda
from the north: I-75, exit 164 and go W on Marion Ave (RT17), Lt (S) on Cooper Str, past
railway, Lt into park from the south: I-75, exit 161 W on Jones Loop, Rt on Taylor, just past Airport Rd, Rt on Education Ave to pond (GPS NAV: 26° 55’ 57.64”N 82° 02’ 00.14”W)

Schedule: Practice and early registration 3:00 - 5:00 PM Friday
Registration and possible measurement 8:30 AM Saturday
Skippers meetings 9:00 AM Saturday, 9:00 AM Sunday
Saturday races begin at 9:30 AM. No races will commence after 3:30 PM.
Sunday races begin at 9:30 AM. No races will commence after 12:30 PM.

Rules: The regatta will be governed by the 2009-2012 Racing Rules of Sailing as modified by
Appendix E. Boats shall conform to the International Micro Magic Class Rules
http://www.theamya.org/boats/micromagic/MMI_rule.pdf and may be measured/weighed. Hull
numbers shall be displayed on both main and jib sails.

Scoring: The regatta will be organized using the odd/even and Low Point Scoring methods. If at
least 10 races are sailed, a boat’s worst score will be excluded. This will occur twice for a maximum of 2 throw-outs.

Prizes: Prizes will be awarded for the first five places. Red Chevrons shall be issued to the top
three places.
